BEAM DYNAMICS IN HIGH-CURRENT ELECTRON LINEAR ACCELERATOR

We have studied beam dynamics in a high-current electron linear accelerator for beam energy 10 MeV. The optimal parameters of accelerating cells and electron gun have been received. On the basis of these results we have formulated the basic requirements for the stability of microwave system parameters and electron gun anode voltages. The efficiency of additional transversal beam focusing by a solenoidal magnetic field and variation of accelerated particles energy have been analyzed.
