SINP Scientific Activity
|
|
The D.V. Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics
(SINP) Of Moscow State University was founded in 1946. The
outstanding physicists academicians D.V. Skobeltsyn
and S.N. Vernov laid the foundation for
scientific schools and trends which were being developed at the
SINP. The foundator, D.V. Skobeltsyn
became the first director of the Institute and the chief of DNP.
Nowadays the SINP is involved in investigations of
Experimental installations designed and built at the SINP to perform
scientific investigations and specialized laboratories for students practical
work are the base for teaching students and post-graduates at the BNP of the
Physical department of Moscow State University.
